¨Los Mareados¨, developing a traditional repertoire along with his own work.

Tanghetto
Tanghetto: electrotango
Tanghetto è una band argentina guidata da Max Masri (sintetizzatori e programmazione) e da Diego S. Velázquez (chitarre) creata nell’anno 2001. Il nome “Tanghetto” (la combinazione delle parole “tango” e “ghetto”) è ispirato alle “piccole Argentine”: le comunità di emigrati argentini all’estero.
Negli anni ’90, Max Masri (uno degli ultimi e più giovani discepoli del leggendario compositore argentino Virgilio Expósito) ritornò a Buenos Aires dopo vivere interessanti esperienze insieme agli emigrati argentini in Germania, riportando con se un’idea: creare un nuovo linguaggio musicale. Alla fine del 1998 iniziò a lavorare con il compositore e strumentista Diego Velázquez ed allora registrarono i primi pezzi di “Electrotango”. Nel 2001 l’idea fu rivisitata con un suono più moderno, composizioni al 100% originali ed un nome: Tanghetto era nato.
La formazione odierna conta anche con Hugo Satorre (bandoneón), Matías Novelle (batteria acustica ed elettronica), Gabriel Clenar (pianoforte) e Chau Xu (violoncello e l’strumento ad arco cinese erhu).

For the famous Tango scene in the movie, Al Pacino prepared by taking intensive tango lessons at Dance Sport dance studio in Manhattan. It took 4 days to film that sequence in the dancesport studio.
The tango heard in the movie Scent of a Woman is Por Una Cabeza by Carlos Gardel. The Tango "Por Una Cabeza" features also in scenes in the movies Schindler’s List and True Lies.
